Rishi Matcha Super Green Tea’s name comes from its vivid emerald green infusion and bountiful natural energy provided by pure Japanese matcha. This signature Rishi flavour combines organic sencha and organic stone-ground matcha. The green teas grow in the fertile volcanic soils in southern Japan’s Kyushu region. Rishi Matcha Super Green Tea ingredients include only organic sencha green tea and organic matcha. To brew, Rishi recommends steeping 1 bag of of tea in 350 mL of water heated to 71C for only 1.5 minutes. Be careful to avoid brewing this tea at too high a temperature as it scalds easily and becomes bitter when steeped too hot.
