Description Indications Bilaxten (Bilastine) is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (seasonal and perennial) and urticaria. Bilaxten is indicated in adults and adolescents (12 years of age and over). Dosage and Administration Adult and adolescents (12 years of age and over): 20 mg (1 tablet) once a day. The tablet should be taken one hour before or two hours after the intake of food or fruit juice (grapefruit juice). Contraindications Hypersensitivity to bilastine, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail. Common side-effects Confusion; Dizziness; Sedation; Asthenia; Nausea; Vomiting Precaution May cause weakness. Do not drive or operate machinery, if affected.
