May administer with or without food. May be taken with meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort. Direction for Reconstitution Shake the bottle well to loosen the powder. Slowly add 40.8mL warm water up to the mark on the bottle and shake well to yield 60mL of reconstituted suspension. Use the reconstituted suspension within 7 days. The reconstituted suspension should be stored in a cool, dark place. Shake well before use. Contraindication Hypersensitivity to cefixime or other cephalosporins or penicillins or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.
