Evaluation of the factory midpipes reveals a very high flowing and relatively smooth flowing design. BMW incorporated a factory break point for upgraded exhausts and the rear section is what holds the exhaust back. The SOUL Performance Products Resonated Muffler Bypass Exhaust forgoes the factory mufflers for a clamp on, 3″ straight pipe design with the addition of race resonators to minimise drone. The straight through design of our race resonators encourages maximum power and sound under heavy throttle while cutting down on harsh frequencies that can make their way into the cabin and cause droning on partial throttle and during cruising conditions. This is the ideal solution to pair with aftermarket downpipes to prevent drone and raspiness. The Y pipe setup exiting out through quad tips encourages equal exhaust distribution and tip adjustability to allow for either a flush or staggered appearance in the bumper. Construction Each set of muffler bypass pipes is made from mandrel bent T304L 3″ .065″ wall stainless steel tubing, straight through race resonators with a full metal packing design for maximum durability, and laser cut brackets for perfect fitment.
